The Littleton High School Lions Football Athlete Advisory Committee (FAAC) is a leadership group within the football program dedicated to fostering a player-driven culture and strengthening the connection between athletes, coaches, and the community. This committee provides selected players with an opportunity to lead, influence, and shape the direction of the Lions Football Program while upholding the core values of commitment, accountability, and excellence on and off the field.

Mission Statement:

The FAAC serves as the voice of the players, ensuring that every athlete has representation in discussions regarding team culture, expectations, and the overall direction of the program. This committee is responsible for reinforcing the Lions’ standard of excellence through leadership, communication, and community involvement.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Leadership Development – Members serve as role models, leading by example in practices, games, and daily life while fostering a positive team culture.

  2. Team Communication – Acts as a bridge between players and coaches, providing a platform for player concerns, feedback, and new ideas.

  3. Culture and Accountability – Helps enforce team standards, ensuring all players commit to the program’s values, discipline, and work ethic.

  4. Community and Outreach – Assists in organizing community service projects, fundraising initiatives, and public engagement efforts to strengthen the bond between Lions Football and Littleton.

  5. Game Day and Program Decisions – Provides input on game-day traditions, team-building activities, and other program enhancements.

  6. Conflict Resolution – Encourages open communication among teammates to address concerns and maintain a unified locker room.

  7. Mentorship and Support – Guides younger players, ensuring they understand expectations, responsibilities, and the Lions Football Brotherhood.

Selection Process:

  • Players are nominated by teammates or coaches based on their leadership qualities, work ethic, and positive influence on the team.

  • The coaching staff selects the final committee members, ensuring a diverse group representing different class levels and positions.

  • Members will serve for a full season, with opportunities for renewal based on commitment and effectiveness.
