
Mark Cooper is a former University of Miami standout, where he played tight end, protecting legendary quarterback Jim Kelly. He went on to play in the NFL as an offensive lineman, joining the Denver Broncos from 1983 to 1987, where he was part of historic moments including “The Drive” and Super Bowl XXI, protecting John Elway.
He later continued his professional career with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from 1987 to 1989, where he protected another legendary quarterback, Vinny Testaverde.
Off the field, Coach Coop has made a lasting impact in youth football. He coached for Creek Red Nation, a Colorado-based youth football program, and led the team to three National Championships.
